Fashion Designing Course in Jaipur | 6-Month Portfolio Program
Sketching, garment construction, digital design, and a portfolio that opens doors — built for the fashion industry that exists in 2026, not 2010.
Program at a glance
Who this is for.
Creative freshers
You’ve sketched, watched Fashion Week, or done small alterations. Time to make it a serious craft.
Aspiring label owners
You want to launch your own line eventually. This teaches the full pipeline — design to production.
Working designers
You’re already in the industry and want the digital design + Adobe stack that studios keep asking for.
Career switchers
Coming from a non-creative field. The 6-month pace gives you space to build actual skill, not fake fluency.

Frequently asked questions about the fashion designing course in Jaipur
What is the fee for the fashion designing course in Jaipur at Skillera?
₹35,000 for the complete 6-month program. A base sketch pad, fabric swatches, and a starter material kit are included in this fee. Larger production materials for the capstone collection are partially subsidised.
Can I join the fashion designing course without any sketching experience?
Yes. Nearly half our fashion students start from zero sketching experience. Sketching is a taught skill — we cover croquis, figure drawing, and technical flats from the very first week. You do not need natural drawing talent to join.
Is the fashion designing course only available offline in Jaipur?
Yes. This course is offline only at our Mansarovar, Jaipur campus. Garment construction, sewing, pattern drafting, and fabric handling require hands-on equipment that cannot be replicated online. If you are looking for an online fashion course, this is not the right fit.
What software is covered in the fashion designing course?
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and Procreate for digital fashion design. CLO 3D basics are also introduced for 3D garment visualisation. All are taught with studio-standard workflows used in actual design houses.
Will I make actual garments during this course?
Yes. By month 3 you will have drafted, cut, and stitched your own garments from patterns you created. The 6-month program ends with a 5–8 piece capstone collection that includes an editorial photoshoot — your headline portfolio piece.
What jobs can I get after the fashion designing course?
Common career paths include: Junior Fashion Designer (design house), Assistant Designer (label or brand), Textile and Print Designer, Freelance boutique designer, Costume and stylist assistant, Fashion Illustrator, and Merchandiser. Typical starting salaries are ₹2.5–5 LPA. Own label and boutique paths offer higher long-term upside.
Do I need a laptop for the fashion designing course?
Yes — a laptop capable of running Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required for the digital design modules in months 3–4. Any mid-range laptop from the past 3–4 years with 8GB RAM is sufficient.
Why learn fashion design in Jaipur specifically?
Jaipur is one of India’s top textile and garment cities — block printing, tie-dye, and hand-embroidery industries are based here. Studying fashion design in Jaipur gives you direct access to fabric markets, artisans, and boutiques that do not exist in most other cities. Our students regularly source fabrics from Bapu Bazaar and Johari Bazaar for their capstone collections.
Does the course include placement support?
Yes. We support placement into design houses, boutiques, and studios in and around Jaipur. For students who want to launch their own label, we have a dedicated freelancing and business module in month 6 covering pricing, client handling, and e-commerce for small labels.
What is included in the fashion designing course fee?
The ₹35,000 fee includes: 6 months of training, a starter sketch pad and material kit, fabric swatches, digital design software access (trial licences), the editorial photoshoot for your capstone collection, and placement support.
